Welcome to the 2024-2025 Creative Arts Series of the Linda Berry Stein College of Fine Arts & Humanities .
From the President
Greetings from the campus of Jacksonville University , where our arts and humanities students and faculty are learning , creating and excelling . We are grateful to all of you who have supported our campus by sharing your ideas , encouragement and resources .
As we move through the sixth decade of our Linda Berry Stein College of Fine Arts & Humanities , we have one of the most dynamic , exciting seasons of programming open to our campus family and to the community beyond our gates . As our broader world speeds up and challenges us all , we are reminded that the arts and humanities celebrate those things about being human that unite us all .
We hope you will come visit us this season – for an exhibit , a performance or a tour . You are always welcome .
From the Dean
To our Stein College community , we are grateful for your generosity and support for our faculty and students this year . Thanks to your support , our college continues to be a center of excellence in the arts and humanities and a significant contributor to the cultural and intellectual life of Northeast Florida and beyond .
Artists are adaptive and tenacious by nature , and artistic communities have historically risen to the challenges of thriving during eras of change . This time is no different . Our students ’ patience , persistence and positivity reminds us that art is uniquely suited to translate and highlight our shared experiences .
We are so proud of this year ’ s Creative Arts Series , which features a stunning array of concerts , speakers and exhibitions from across the areas of dance , languages , literature , music , philosophy , theater and the visual arts . We hope you will join us to experience firsthand the passion and talent of our students and faculty .
