Success is Scary!!

No …The road to success doesn’t have to be traveled alone, there is nothing worse than knowing you would have to walk a path of hard work alone. This issue has taught me so much from the life of Guerda Pierre and certain choices she has made for a better life with her family (cover story) to making better decisions in terms of my business with Kay Richardson.
Life is a constant lesson, you never stop learning, and you never stop growing. You can only know for sure that you have achieved your level of success when you have reached YOUR peace of mind.
Challenges will always emerge, obstacles will always exist, but there is nothing like the personal satisfaction of knowing those trials were overcome.
It’s always my pleasure sharing real life stories with you from true survivors. It’s not always about the celebrities but about real women with real struggles who find their bliss in the things that really count. Would you permit me to share yours?!
The thought of starting an organization and juggling life altogether can put a damper on your mood from time to time. Have you ever heard the expression “it’s lonely at the top” or “The road of success is a lonely road” . Not really the kind of words one wants to hear when trying to achieve certain goals and dreams alas such is the reality.
Though I live, breathe and dream CCWC; I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. Life is about peace of mind and knowing you can leave this earth with a smile on your face with the reassurance that someone’s life has been better because of you. I feel blessed knowing the Good Lord was able to grant me enough intelligence to put such a platform in place for the women that He has put in my life. My feelings when putting each issue out is always to please my members. We have come a long way, yet we’ve only just begun.
I believe with all my heart that my organization will grow, flourish, and prosper. I have already seen various things that demonstrate this is in fact a great initiative. CCWC is a platform where women can, in confidence, support and work with each other, as well as unite individuals from all walks of life. People who share the same goal and purpose are now, through CCWC, given the assurance that they indeed have a sister in the struggle.
