It’s been an eventful 1st Quarter starting with our very first meeting for the year and then fast forwarding to the tremendously successful ICAWN Annual Women’s Empowerment Conference. I had a glimpse of what a better world can look like when people come together to achieve a common goal. No envy or jealousy, but just pure mutual support. On this note, the magazine definitely marks a milestone. We have reached our 2nd year of publication with this fifth issue! Needless to say, we have made an impact in our community and will continue to do so. We even caught the eye of certain big companies that share our vision and chose to be featured on our pages.
Be sure to turn to Dani’s message about not selling yourself short. Peruse Georgia’s inspirational article on learning to deal with failures along the path to success. I am honored to be able to grow with these ladies and the members of ICAWN. It is an even greater joy to be able to offer a platform of free expression for artists. This issue is definitely another step into our bright future and it is my distinct pleasure to share it with you.
