The EMERGING ARTISTS issue

11 | CREATIV | Nov - Jan 2016 | www.creativmag.com

Once you get a calling it's kind of hard to say no, Last year we've dedicated our cover to young Barbie who unfortunately passed away in March of 2015. However what was cool is that her family was able to have a memory of her through the magazine from a complete stranger (that's us). May she rest in peace and hopefully dwell in the Lord's place. May I recall that our Cancer survivor issues are always the hardest ones to put together. It's always our deepest honor and privilege to be able to publish the most heartfelt stories and this one is no different.

In this issue we highlight the story of Barry Reiter, Business man, family man and pancreatic cancer survivor. We applaud him for fighting on, not only for his family but for himself. We also have the pleasure of highlighting this year's CCWC TRUNK SHOW which sole purpose is to give back to its community through the arts.

We've even had the pleasure of welcoming new contributors, artists at heart, writers, photographers and visual artists that pour their hearts into their craft. We can't wait for you to see where we discovered them.

Lastly this issue wouldn't be possible without the loyalty of our regular contributors they've selflessly given their time and talent to this magazine and I can't thank them enough for believing in this company. Here is to our 11th issue. Enjoy!

Enjoy our labor of love and Kudos to all cancer fighters.

I

I have to admit this issue surprised me a little. I am sure you are saying: "But Corhinn, you shouldn't be surprised. This is what hard work does" and I totally agree. The end of the year 2015 has been indeed very challenging not only on a professional level, but also on a personal one as well.

This issue is packed with phenomenal artists. From music to visual art to fashion to culinary arts, it seems we have practically covered every genre of art out there. I could not be more pleased to present this issue.

We had the pleasure of interviewing some amazing artists such as Kevin Onedr from Philadelphia, Eddie Bogaert and Shenna Somsmieh both from New York. From Music to Mixed Media Art, the world is full of wonderful talent and it is an honor and privilege to be able to recount part of their epic journey.

We've even had the pleasure of welcoming new contributors, artists at heart, writers, photographers and visual artists that pour their hearts into their crafts, gladly donating their time and talent to this labor of love.

Lastly, this issue would not be possible without the loyalty of our regular contributors. They have selflessly given their time and talent to this magazine and I cannot thank them enough for believing in this company.

Here is to our 12th issue! Enjoy.
