I will probably have to stop saying how amazed I am with each issue that is published. My goal is to raise the bar and the standard for each issue as we grow and expand. As I sit here typing this letter to you, that feeling of being amazed will never quite go away. This particular issue is special because we are featuring someone close to us, but it is a name that you will remember in the years to come as she rises to stardom. Carlacia Grant, a young actress and model whom we've seen blossom over the years has followed her dreams and is now achieving the success she deserves right before us. She has recently landed three roles in three different Television series, one of which has amassed at least 5.3 million views on the first night. A proud moment not only for those close to her but also to those of Haitian and Jamaican descent as she originates from these 2 backgrounds.
Moreover, it is a delight to be able to feature new talent from the city of New York, a young female photographer by the name of Sulaah Bien-Aime shares some of her photography with us, showcasing not one but 2 spreads. One of which highlights famous designers Ron & Ron whom have styled celebrities such as Jay-Z, Wass Stevens, Curtis Martin, Courtney B Vance, Hill Harper, Jamie Foxx just to name a few.
Last but not least, Fashion lovers rejoice! Miami Swim Week just happened. It is our great pleasure to present to you three of the best designers of the week, Beas and Bikinis, Fhilthy Haanz and Beach Freedom. These hot and sizzling new designs will get you ready for the cruise season in sunny South Florida.
It is our pleasure to give you this month a fun packed summer fashion issue also featuring our returning contributors Herbert Tucker and Robert DiVito. I am surely pleased with the outcome and I am sure that you will be too.
