Using AI-driven big-data tools to support better city planning

The problem
Modelling new infrastructure and planning scenarios , including evaluating their impact on land values , is integral to making informed urban planning , development and investment decisions .
Valuations are used to collect land tax , inform infrastructure investment ( for example , measuring value capture feasibility ) and home-lending as well as to model insurance risk and property investment returns .
However , the current labour-intensive approach to land and property value assessment is expensive , subjective , slow and often uses outof-date property valuations .
