Crazitive African Magazine: Can we meet you? TG OMORI: Yeah. I ' m THankGod Omori Jesam. brand name TG Omori aka Boy Director CAM: How did you venture into the directing and videography world? TG OMORI: Uhm. I actually started up as a rap artist but used to act in the children drama group in church, I figured it was always easy for me to come up with ideas, stories and blockings. So after secondary school I went to a film school to study performing and media art, I wanted to be a stage actor but it was in film school I discovered that I had an outstanding talent in directing, so I started putting in work n research. After film school I went on to work as a write r for a media house in Lagos so from there I taught myself how to use the camera and edit too from YouTube tutorials and books So from there I started accepting music video jobs and here we are here. CAM: What can you say as regards the revolution in the videography world in terms of better quality and graphics? TG OMORI: The videography world is getting better every day especially from this part of the world where people are beginning to appreciate video qualities and composition. CAM: As a fast rising director in the Nigerian industry, what can you say is unique about your work. What can you say singles out your work from others? TG Omori: I think my creative story telling, camera angles and compositions.
CAM: What are the challenges in your pursuit and how did you go about solving them? TG OMORI: Major challenge is trying to get enough budget to express yourself but apart from that no much challenges
Solving that? You just have to make the best out of what you have CAM: What advice do you have for upcoming Crazitive Africans? TG OMORI: Stay working and updated! CAM: What upcoming projects do you have for your fans before the year runs out? I ' m currently touring the world, discovering new locations, meeting new people and staying inspired I shot a couple of videos in Dubai, Mauritius and Barbados, they should be out in August plus I ' m working on a music video for myself lol which I shot in Mauritius it should be out soon Thank you for your time...
