For my garment, I had a pair of black mum jeans from Topshop, they were cotton denim, however the jeans were very worn out and they had distressed lines, however it looked like it was not a completed job. This was because the distressed lines were not distressed making it look like a mistake.

The things that I would change would be the material of the entire garment, I would change it to a more refined cotton denim, this would enable it to be firm and hold the customers figure well. This depends on people preference; however, I would make the distressed lines proper rips so it makes the jeans look complete. On the other hand, the distressed lines could be removed completely making the jeans wearable to places that ripped jeans may not be as suitable.

Even if the jeans stayed with the same material it could be changed into a different garment entirely, for example it could be changed into a pair of jeans shots, a mini skirt or a pair of skinny jeans. I would have many choices to change the garment into. Many factories leave clothes that have loads of defaults instead of recycling and making something else that could be sold with it. Many things like zips, buttons and poppers could fail inspection, however they don’t get done again they get shipped to outlets and get sold for a cheaper price seeing as it is faulty. Luxury brands so the same, that’s why people go to outlets and boo sales knowing that they can get a bargain instead of wasting money.

What is wrong with your garment ??
