Thank you for another phenomenal year in alumni and parental support for the Schools!
$6.86 million in overall gifts for the Schools, an increase of almost 16% over last year, from a total of 3,214 donors.
.
.
These gains are in large part attributable to significant support of endowed funds, restricted giving, and successful Schools events.
Over $1.3 million in
gifts raised for
Horizons Upward Bound.
This includes endowment and operational support
with increases in annual
fund contributions and number of donors.
More than 800 alumni and guests enjoyed the 2019 Alumni Reunion, and paid tribute to 50 years of the Wilderness Expedition.
Programs and projects that have benefited because of extraordinary support from our donors:
- groundbreaking for a new eight-court tennis complex on Orchard Ridge Road (the site
of the old tennis bubble), featuring a special elevated spectator bridge;
- construction of a press box overlooking the Thompson Oval and the Del Walden Field,
facilitating state-of-the-art game technology and communication;
- academic programs in emerging entrepreneurial curricula, as well as virtual reality
and innovative technologies;
- professional development opportunities for teachers and coaches across all divisions;
- increased financial aid and scholarship funding, with exceptional support from the
Classes of 1969 and 1989.
