Knitting Know How Casting on: Make a slip knot to do this hold the wool between your forefinger and thumb of each of your hands, your hands need to be a short distant apart. Make a small circle of wool by crossing the wool from your right hand over the wool in your left hand. Hold between your forefinger and thumb in your left hand. Now push the wool through the circle .Put the tip of the knitting needle though this loop and pull through. This is your first stitch. To continue to cast on Make sure the needle with the slip knot is in your left hand. Slide the right needle up through the stitch, so it sits behind and the needles are crossed. Take the wool in your right hand and wrap around the right needle from back to front. Pull your right needle back so the point comes down and slip the new stitch off the right needle on to the left needle. Continue until you have cast on the correct amount.
