Stick the side of the long piece of card. Now cut a jagged shape around the top of the card so it resembles a melted candle. Make these basic shapes in various heights. Now the messy part, Mix up a paper mache solution, I used 2 parts water 1 part PVA glue. Rip up strips of tissue, dip into the solution and cover the cardboard candles. Use 3 or 4 layers. Make scrunched up pieces of tissue and place at the front of candles to look like dripping wax. Then leave over night to dry. Once dry you can paint your candles any colour you wish. I have painted mine white. Place a LED tea light onto the circle. Make a variety of candle in different sizes.
