His TCN Podcast shares interviews and conversations from the project. Fred espouses on cooking, pairing and enjoying beer and food seasonally in his book, The Beervangelist’s Guide to the Galaxy. His beer-soaked essay, The Great American Smoker, was the winner of the 2017 GonzoFest Literary Contest. After twenty-plus years as an executive in the beverage industry, Fred is embarking on a new path as a freelance consultant on company culture and craft ideals. He enjoys life on his farm in Fennville, MI with his wife Ulla, and their charming herd of critters. A CHEF, A CEO, A PARENT OR A KID YOURSELF, YOU CAN HELP END CHILDHOOD Holly Cline Columnist, Craft Heroines | Writer A true communications professional, Holly Cline’s comprehensive experience includes PR, marketing, internal communica- tions, brand positioning, event planning and editorial writing. After working agency-side for nearly a decade, Holly founded her own firm, 331 Communications, in 2011. By way of Seattle, Amelia Island, Raleigh, and New York City, Holly now lives in the heart of Atlanta’s Buckhead and enjoys eating (and drinking) at various local restaurants (she was recently voted “favorite regular” at one) and grabbing a beer from one of the metro area’s craft breweries. Holly also loves to travel and is a die-hard Seattle Seahawks fan (we dare you to utter the word bandwagon to her, and yes, she’s still upset about “that call” during Super Bowl XLIX). HUNGER IN THE U.S. Jerry Gnagy Columnist | Founding Member and Co-Owner, Against the Grain Brewery Jerry Gnagy started brewing beer in grade school at the age of 6 and learned quickly that he was slightly better than medi- ocre. During his formative years at Adams College, he won the big tricycle race with his fraternity Lambda Lambda Lambda propelling them over the Alpha Betas, thereby taking control of the Greek Council. Unfortunately, he blew out his Vitoglan- nis on the last lap and was forced to start Against the Grain Brewery which was the only career path where he could utilize his 5th-grade fart-joke skillset. CHEF MATT BELL Matt Williamson A PROUD NO KID HUNGRY SUPPORTER Columnist, Musicians on Craft | Audio Engineer Matt might best be known to CRAFT readers as the former producer of our Under My Host podcast. An audio engineer by trade, his first love affair (with beverage anyway, he won’t discuss Jenny from the 4th grade) was with a beer named Gordon. Some may know it as the Imperial Red IPA brewed by Oskar Blues and now being called G’Knight for legal reasons (to him it will always be his beloved Gordon). That first sip sent him on a journey that plopped him in the Under My Host producer’s chair where he helped interview the best brewers, distillers, and vintners in the world. He is also recently very happy that, despite Cori’s best attempts, he never embraced the moniker Matty CK*. *Publisher’s Note: Cori ungrudgingly withdraws said moniker and reinstates “Producer Matty.” © Hundred-to-One LLC 2018.
