BEE’S KNEES
Honey plays a key role in this riff on a gin sour. It’s a classic anyone
can master.
2 ¼ oz. gin
¾ oz. 2:1 honey syrup (directions follow)
¾ oz. lemon juice
GARNISH: lemon peel
Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice. Shake until chilled.
Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon peel and serve.
2:1 HONEY SYRUP
Mix two parts honey with one part hot water. Stir until dissolved.
