I recently had the honor of representing the Munce Group on a partner trip with Operation Christmas Child( OCC), sponsored by Samaritan’ s Purse. I traveled to Belize alongside nearly 100 other partners to help distribute shoeboxes and support local churches during their outreach events.
I was a little nervous heading to another country alone, especially leaving my children at home. We were traveling shortly after violent unrest in Mexico following the death of a drug lord, and one of my daughters expressed concern that something might happen to me. As we talked, I admitted I was nervous too— not just about the travel, but because I only knew two people on the trip.
