Please support the Teachers for Radon Reduction campaign to encourage state and local representatives to pass legislation that will require states to test all schools for radon gas. We are asking you to please send a letter encouraging your local representatives to support the passing of existing or the creation of bills to improve the health of our children.
This year, more and more childhood related cancers are surfacing. It is becoming apparent that unless we do something about the radon levels in our schools, our children will face increased levels of lung cancer in their future. You have a unique opportunity to show your support and leadership for an ever-increasing number of people being diagnosed with cancer on a daily basis.
Legislation is needed throughout the United States. We are asking each and everyone of you to get on board and push for mandatory school radon testing.

Radon Testing in Schools HB 1057 was introduced by PA Representative Tim Briggs, April 5, 2019 recommending that every school in Pennsylvania test for radon and each school district shall provide written notice to the parent or guardian of each student within ten (10) business days of the start of the school year.
