Mission Statement

Citizens For Radioactive Radon Reduction is a 501 C3 nonprofit organization with a mission of radon reduction advocacy and mentoring in the understanding of increased lung cancer risk due to exposure of radioactive radon gas in order to reduce radon exposure and help prevent radon-induced lung cancer.

We assist, encourage, and prepare advocates in making a difference with awareness, education and action against radioactive radon gas exposure. We hope to effectively educate the public and private sectors about the real danger of living, working, or attending school in environments with elevated levels of radon gas.

CR3 volunteers are at the heart of our organization and through volunteer service we have the opportunity to take our advocacy to the next level! CR3 volunteers provide leadership and insight to the organization’s activities and projects, and every volunteer plays a significant role in helping us continue to deliver on our mission of providing awareness regarding radon education, testing and mitigation to combat lung cancer through early detection. The skills, passion, and varied perspectives are needed to continue to build an organization that is advanced by energetic and innovative volunteer leaders. We encourage people to join us and deepen their engagement with CR3 and use your advocacy to save lives.

Thank you!
