Now in existence for over ten years, Citizens for the Radioactive Radon Reduction, continues to strive to expand its programs and awareness to more communities. We hope that you will be able to take part and join our crusade to help save lives with our participation in events, conferences and presentations.
Radioactive radon gas exposure is the leading cause of death in the home—the leading environmental cause of cancer mortality and a leading cause of lung cancer. Your contributions will help us educate the general public, physicians, legislators, community leaders, educators, business leaders, homeowners, and realtors about the real danger of the inhalation of radioactive alpha particles which are emitted from the decay products of uranium in the ground under the structures we inhabit.
Our mission is: "Radon reduction advocacy and mentoring in the understanding of increased lung cancer risk due to exposure of radioactive radon gas and help prevent radon-induced lung cancer." In order to continue our mission and provide services in our communities, we rely on the generosity of individuals and businesses for support. Without the assistance of community-minded individuals and organizations like you, our 501 c3 non-profit would not be able to provide the critical education to our communities each year. Your contributions help us distribute radon test kits at a very low cost and assists us in getting to key locations so we can share the knowledge of the danger of radon with our citizens, encourage them to become radon reduction advocates, and take action for radon reduction.
