Beauty of imperfectionThe image is beautifully symbolic! It depicts
a child repairing a tear in the paper themselves using a needle and thread — a fascinating blend of imagination and metaphor. It feels like a visual commentary on resilience, the act of repairing,
and perhaps even the beauty of imperfection.
How could our world be different if we had compassion, mercy, kindness, and sympathy and love for each other?
What if we took positive action when opportunities arose to assist others:
Could we strive for laws that would help protect our indoor and outdoor environment.
Could we strive to provide equal health care for all by making needs known.
Could we plan for clean air to breath and clean water to drink.
It takes a United Effort to prevent sickness and death from the evils of our societies. Caring for our present and future generations won’t just magically happen. We have to make it happen and care for each other. By speaking to our governments about equality and justice in our communities, we can support those who are in need. We can strive for better communication about the needs of others with our medical, educational, and business communities.
Some of the groups who need our attention are the underserved who live in poor conditions both environmentally and rural health-care desserts and those who are living with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. What if this November, we all think about how we can make a difference and do it. What if?
Some of the groups that care:
Citizens for Radioactive
Radon Reduction
American Lung Association
Respiratory Health Association
Other lung cancer organizations
Food banks and food pantries and churches
You can find many more ways to make a difference if you just seize the opportunities!
