I have taken precautions at my own residential house to protect my children from radon. Our house is close to 3 of the schools. Our house tested for VERY HIGH levels of radon, therefore we promptly put in our mitigation system. If our house that is close by tested for high levels, more than likely the 3 close school would too. So my children are protected at home - I even do test kits every two years to make sure the system is working - but they are not protected at school, a place that they spend quite a bit of time at. Please consider protecting our children from radon. Please pass bill to test schools to protect students, faculty and staff.
