Advocate With One Voice

for the Federal Lung Cancer

Research Program

We must all speak with ONE VOICE to rally behind the House

Appropriations Bill for FY2020, which if approved would bring

federal funding for lung cancer research up to a total of

$155.5 Million.

Currently, the LCRP is funded in the FY20 House Defense

Appropriations Bill at $14M, which is $6M below its original FY09

allocation. In the FY20 Senate Defense Appropriations Bill, lung

cancer is not funded as an individual research program. Instead, it has

been included in the broader peer-reviewed competitive program.
