Dr. R. William Field is a Professor at the University of Iowa's College of Public Health with appointments in the Department of Occupational and Environmental Health and Department of Epidemiology. He is also the Director of the NIOSH funded Occupational Epidemiology Training Program at the University and Director the Environmental Lung Disease Research Core at the NIEHS funded Environmental Health Sciences Research Center. Dr. Field is an international expert on the health effects of radon. He is currently leading a collaborative effort, sponsored by the Iowa Institute of Public Health Research and Policy at the University of Iowa, to identify human exposure and health risks from neonicotinoid insecticides.
