CR3 gained other representatives and supporters recently in the lung cancer and radon community in Ohio. Thanks to Radon BE Gone and Shad Evans and A-Z Radon and Tony McDonnell, we were introduced by email to Annie Cacciato, artist, Stage IV lung cancer survivor, and co-founder of Breath of Hope in Columbus. Annie is truly inspiring with her energy and determination to make a difference and save lives through her work and her passion along with her co-founder Sandy Lomeo.
CR3 was honored to be invited by our new partners to the fabulous Breath of Hope Gala on April 21 featuring as the keynote speaker, Will Reeve, son of Christopher and Dana Reeve. This young man gave the most moving and inspirational talk which had everyone anxiously awaiting his every word. Another outstanding guest was our friend, Chris Draft, of the Chris Draft Family Foundation. In addition to these unique guests were Dr. David Carbone and the many physicians and scientists of the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center—Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James).
