GreenbuildEXPO
EXHIBITORS INCLUDE:
Greenbuild Expo will take place in Manchester on the 7th and 8th May 2014, featuring a packed
conference programme and innovative exhibitors covering all aspects of sustainable buildings.
The event is completely free to attend and offers an exciting schedule of debates, workshops and
seminars, as well as exhibitors showcasing the latest green products and solutions.
With retrofit still firmly on the agenda, the Green Deal and ECO debate area will once again be
at the heart of the show, giving visitors the chance to hear from key organisations and how we
can all make the most of this flagship green policy. In addition, the themed seminar rooms will
offer something for everyone, with sessions on everything from green materials and sustainable
methods of construction, to low-carbon design and energy-saving refurbishment.
Another feature returning for 2014 is Ignition, the UK’s only woodfuel event, which runs as part
of Greenbuild Expo. With a dedicated seminar programme and exhibition area, Ignition 14 will
include advice on the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI), Microgeneration Certification Scheme
(MCS), the various fuel types available and much more.
Other highlights of Greenbuild Expo 2014 will include:
l
SUSTAINABLE CITIES - green solutions for commercial buildings from schools to
hospitals, as well as high-density housing, focusing on smart buildings
l
GREENBUILD AWARDS - all the finalists of the second awards will be on display, and
many will be presenting their shortlisted projects, explaining how they have achieved
impressive energy savings
