“I used to think that volunteering did not
make a big impact in my community.
However, when you combine your efforts
with those of others who are willing to
work hard to get the job done, great
things can be accomplished.”
David Turchen, CPA, CA, CPA (WA)
2015 Community Service Award winner
“Success is knowing that you have made
a difference and added value to your
community, profession, and workplace.
It’s about providing leadership in finding
common ground. The most fulfilling
experience is seeing those around you
who you have mentored mature and
succeed in their own right to become
successful leaders.”
