Why CPA ? At first , I didn ’ t choose CPA , God chose it . I meant to be here for a year or so to start the shaping of an arts program ... but thanks be to Him ! He had other plans — and they are always best .
Favorite Memory Every memory — from directing shows in Fellowship Hall with almost nothing to work with , to arts faculty meetings innovating or processing curriculum and events , to every show this past spring ... such a blessing to be a part of God ’ s story in it all !
Advice for Young Educators Pay attention to what you love to do and what energizes you . Pay attention to all of the students , especially the ones who don ’ t seem interested . Pay attention to guard your time with God who holds it all . There is more to do than we possibly can — but He holds time in his hands , and in Him all things hold together .

Why CPA ? I chose CPA for my career because of the important mission and purpose of the Academy .
Favorite Memory
I have so many incredible memories , but one that stands out is the 2008 Volleyball District Championship game played at CPA in honor of former faculty member Vicki Foltz . So many students and families rallied around the Foltz family with their devastating loss . It ’ s a reminder of what CPA Athletics is all about .
Advice for Young Educators Meet students where they are and encourage them to be more than they think they can ever be .
