We strongly believe this solution is commensurate with the challenges at hand. High school football in Tennessee is at an inflection point. Rather than wait for high school football to follow the same path of modern college athletics, our school is choosing a different direction now. We whole-heartedly believe in an education-based athletic model where the emphasis remains squarely on student development.
We remain committed to the TSSAA’ s primary objectives and to maintaining strong relationships with member schools across the state. We hope the TSSAA and member schools will join us in this effort to create a better athletic experience for all students.
While we are firmly committed to this path under the current framework, our school unequivocally reserves the right to reevaluate our status should the TSSAA alter its established rules or divisional placements.
We look forward to providing a football experience that serves as a meaningful component of a " whole-child " education, preparing students for lives of service, leadership, and personal excellence beyond the playing field.
