FRANCESCA MOORE DUNN’ 19
After graduating from CPA in 2019, Francesca Moore started Basic Cadet Training at the United States Air Force Academy,“ It was the most rewarding and most challenging four years of my life,” Moore remembers.
The education Moore received from CPA prepared her for the rigors of the Air Force Academy better than many of her classmates.“ One area in which I excelled was my writing. I consistently did well on my college essays, and I realized that it was because of my English classes in middle and high school! My years at CPA gave me a strong foundation for reading and writing at the university level,” said Moore. Additionally, Moore credits her academic success at the Academy in part to the study and time management skills she learned at CPA.
In 2023, Moore graduated from the Air Force Academy and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant. She received a slot to attend graduate school and is pursuing her master’ s in nursing at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Once she completes her degree, Moore will be reinstated into active duty to serve at least 8 years as an Air Force nurse.
One of Moore’ s messages to current students at CPA is to pursue one thing they love outside of school, Moore’ s passion for dance has spanned her whole life. At the Air Force Academy, she dreamt about becoming an NFL cheerleader. This past year she auditioned for the Philadelphia Eagles and made the team,“ I never imagined life would take me here, but I’ ve learned that God is far more gracious than I deserve. I thought my career in dance was over after graduating high school, but He has been faithful to provide me with better opportunities than I thought possible!”
