Nerissa Casselman Sarantos’ 00 lives in Franklin with husband Joey and children Penny, Elle and Addison. She and Joey launched Studio Grist, an interiors and home furnishings company. Their new furniture line launched in summer 2025.
Cullin Spellings’ 01 and wife Carolyn Turnley Spellings’ 01 stay busy with children’ s sports and spending time outdoors. Daughter Ainsley plays soccer and runs track and son Calvin plays ice hockey. They enjoy backpacking at Fiery Gizzard. He also serves on the CPA Alumni Board.

Mary Wallace Atchley’ 03 became an entrepreneur and opened Walk Your Plans Atlanta, a cutting edge projection facility that allows residential and commercial property owners to experience their floor plans and elevations in life-sized scale before construction begins.
Stephanie Smith Weathers’ 00 lives in Dallas, TX with husband Paul of seventeen years and they are expecting their eighth child, Hannah Ruth.
2001
Robert Kown’ 01 started his own company, RK Consulting, working with academic clients in the design and construction space. Daughter Margot is in first grade at CPA.
Will Mooney’ 01 and wife Afton live in Crieve Hall with eleven year old twin daughters who attend The Covenant School. He started a counseling practice called Made and Matter counseling two years ago, where he is the owner and a Licensed Professional Counselor on a team with six other therapists.
2002
Grace Monger Aphinyanaphongs’ 02 and husband Yin have been in New York City for fifteen years. She is a Nurse Practitioner, turned stay at home mom, but hopes to return to adjunct faculty at New York University nursing school next year. Yin is the Director of operational data science and machine learning at NYU Langone health. They also added a Russian Blue kitty named Atlas to their family.
Becky Kiern’ 02 transitioned to the Patient Experience and Quality Lead for the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in September. She has been on the steering committee for the creation of the TN Cardiac Surgery Consortium and continues to pursue her PhD in adult learning through collaborative practice at TEDs.

Katie Beth Gill’ 03 works for Doctors Without Borders as a Medical Team Leader currently in Ukraine. Past missions have included Myanmar, South Sudan, Kenya, DRC, Lebanon, Malawi, Iraq, Syria, Yemen, Sudan, Equatorial Guinea and Türkiye. She obtained a master in international relations in addition to her critical care nurse training to help diversify opportunities within the field.
Beth Graham’ 03 graduated from Westminster Theological Seminary with a Master of Arts in Theological Studies in May. She continues her role at CPA as Assistant Head of Spiritual Life.
2004
Anna King Birdwell’ 04 and husband Chase welcomed son Walter Williams Birdwell in April 2025. Walt joins sisters Murray Cate, Corrine and Charlotte. Anna continues her role at CPA as Strength and Conditioning Coach and Director of Sports Medicine. Husband Chase joined the CPA Security Team.
