STAY CONNECTED Greetings CPA Alumni Community !
As Director of Alumni and Special Events at the Academy , it is my distinct pleasure to reconnect with you all in your current life endeavors and share your stories of impact with our community . I am embarking on my 9th year here at CPA working to engage our alumni base and orchestrate special events that support the mission of our school . My husband Jonathan and I love having our two daughters Brooks ( third grade ) and Charlotte ( second grade ) at CPA . While annual events like the golf / tennis classics , Homecoming , or class reunions take place here in Nashville , I love hearing from alums all over the globe via phone or email , and visiting with you all when you ’ re back in town .
As our school grows , and we graduate new alumni each year , it is always such a joy to see the ways our different passions create positive change in every industry near and far . This year , we saw over 500 alumni back on campus for various events , added 104 new alumni bricks to our quad walkways , enjoyed collaboration with 14 professionals chairing our Alumni Board , celebrated 144 alumni legacies enrolled at CPA , 25 alumni employed at CPA , and this fall , we ’ ll break ground on a new athletic and wellness facility set to open sometime in 2025 !
We love sharing these new initiatives with you , and we hope to share more updates with you all at Homecoming this year , the weekend of October 4-5 . Please join us ! If you ’ re not able to , drop me an email anytime . I ’ d love to hear from you !

Mac Purdy ’ 92 is Director of Student Ministry at Christ Presbyterian Church .
1993
Becca Patton Rollins ’ 93 lives in Brentwood with husband of twentysix years , Nathan . They have four children , Philip ( 19 ), Sophie ( 17 ), Hugh ( 15 ) and George ( 12 ).
1994
Sloan Yarborough ’ 94 is the Associate Director of Music and Director of Choirs at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Green Hills . He also continues his work as the Musical Director for the Act Too Players and Director of Music for a men ’ s acapella group , The Nashville Singers .
1995
Tarah Prater-Burkhart ’ 95 and husband Keith live in St . Augustine , FL . She works for Walmart corporate and he is back in school for an IT certification in Ethical Hacking .
Evie Coates ’ 95 completed her twentieth year of teaching art to students at The Ensworth School in
Nashville , and has accepted the role of Lower School Arts Chair . She enjoys time with her family , her cat Sylvie , and maintaining her home and garden .

Amy Floyd Larson ’ 96 and husband Judd live in Brentwood with children Parker ( 10 ) and Gracie ( 7 ).
