At CPA, we cultivate a life-giving atmosphere
for all. This atmosphere begins with
pursuant love, authentic
relationship, and
reciprocal trust.
As a life-giving atmosphere is cultivated, it facilitates shared experience
essential to the growth and maturity of faithful servants of
God. We desire every student at CPA to experience
being known and valued and to experience
challenge and failure, coupled with
perseverance and success. We desire
every student to experience being
a part of God’s larger story and
to contribute to something
greater than themselves.
One cannot force
belief. We focus on
our processes and
trust the Holy Spirit to
ultimately refine our students’
character in Christ. When the
atmosphere, experiences, and skills
are vibrant and knowledge is filtered
through the narrative of biblical truth,
students will be equipped for character growth
and develop traits such as courage, humility, integrity,
and empathy.
As students share an array
of critical experiences, CPA
instructors seek to prepare
students to be culture shapers
by teaching these skills:
• Christian worldview analysis
• Creativity and innovation
• Critical thinking & problem solving
• Communication and collaboration
• Literacy (information, cultural, technology)
• Life Skills (flexibility and adaptability, initiative and
self-direction, social and cross-cultural awareness, productivity
and accountability, leadership, and responsibility)
