2.3 Shrape Breakwater: Carry out a condition survey and allow for remedial repair
costs in CHC’s rolling 5 year Financial Capital and Maintenance Budget Plan.

2.4 Eastern Channel and Shrape Breakwater extension: Work with the government’s 2017
Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and their preferred development partner
to complete the construction and delivery.

Inner Harbour moorings review: Review and reallocate Inner Harbour moorings
2016-2017
to accommodate construction of proposed HCA-led Victoria Marina, prioritising
day class yachts for the Inner Harbour and the reallocation of cruiser class yachts
to alternative river moorings.
2.6 Future-proof main navigation channel: Obtain consents and deliver improvements 2017-2018
in depth and width of the channel.
2.7 Floating bridge: Promote the requirement to increase navigation access and the
importance of safety management issues in the delivery of the Isle of Wight Council’s
new floating bridge.
2.8 Harbour Access: Review, consult and pursue options for improving short-stay mooring
and slipway access for RIBs, dinghies and other small craft in East Cowes and Cowes.
