BCF roadmap
During the second half of 2017, the BCF’s
General Purpose and Finance Committee
fine tuned the Federation’s new strategic
plan. The plan, which builds on the growth
strategy from the past five years, was
unveiled to the BCF board in November.
BCF vision statement: To be recognised as the leading
Trade Association in UK manufacturing, delivering
outstanding support for its members, respected by the
business community and listened to by government
to ensure the long-term sustainable well-being of
the paints, coatings, printing inks and wallcoverings
industries in the UK.
Non-Executive Director Steve Snaith,
who had previously been Global Trade
Marketing Manager for AkzoNobel
Decorative Paints, helped the BCF team
structure the plan, which is available to all
BCF members and can be downloaded
from the BCF website, via the member
