Please share a bit of your background and how you see it relating to your current success in fitness and modeling.
I always wanted to participate in different sports and had a long time interest in martial arts growing up as a child and adolescent. However, I did nothing! I was incredibly shy and assumed I didn’t have what it takes for sports.
Fast-forward to 20 I started running a lot, working out, and would yo-yo physically. Not till 2012 did I really take it up a notch. I entered my first NPC figure show. I am now a NASM, CPT @ Anytime Fitness in Alachua, FL part time as well as working fulltime for a wine & liquor distributing company as a sales consultant
I finally have enough knowledge and training background to understand my body and what works. I hope to compete throughout this year maybe even venturing into Bikini Division as my build is currently more suited for it.
Of all the clothing and modeling/acting opportunities you could land what would be your favorite role and what would you wear?
Wow, that’s a tough one. I feel I would want to stay true to the health and fitness industry by modeling for women’s fitness magazines and representing a healthy lifestyle. I would prefer to wear athletic apparel and swimwear, anything purple!
Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience.
Lake City Gateway Classic 2012 Figure was my first show. Walking onto the stage for the first time was unforgettable! Following that show I had a lot to overcome; now this year I am finally competing again (cont. pg 22).
