 Is there something that

motivates and or inspires

you to workout, diet and

compete in fitness that non-competitors might connect

with? Which part do you

have the most difficulty with?

I've always loved fitness but my nutrition was not giving me the results I wanted. Little by little I started changing my eating habits and learning more about the right foods to consume.

When I first got my meal plan to match my body and goals from my coach I remembered I could not finish those six meals. Later, when I got to the gym and burned off that energy I wanted more food. It's amazing the changes you can see your body go through with the right plan and exercises. When I workout my main motivation is myself. I push myself to my best and try to avoid distractions. Headphones on, world off. I hope

that with me being and entering the fitness industry I get to inspire others. It's never too late to change and become a better version of yourself. Growing up I was always heavier for my age and when I started being more active I started losing weight and getting into better shape. I don't just compete and live now a healthier lifestyle for myself but I also do it for my future family. I

want my kids to grow up with healthy habits that could be pass down to their kids. My biggest weakness I would say it's probably my posing but I know that would improve and be adjusted as my body changes for future competitions.

How do your goals on stage connect with your non-athletic activities?

I'm a competitor every second of the day. I find myself competing and being goal oriented even when I don't intend to. It's a switch that's never truly off.

What do you think it's the most misunderstood aspect of your lifestyle?

I think the most misunderstood aspect of my lifestyle is that it's not healthy. Most people have the misconception of what "healthy" is.. Most people are easy to judge others who choose to turn their life for the better.

Proper eating habits should be applied every day not just for a competition or seasonal. There is no point of putting your body through stress if you’re going to return to your old ways (cont. pg 18).
