Please share a bit of your background and how you see it relating to your current success in fitness and modeling.
I've played sports all my life from middle school to high school. In middle school I played tennis for my school. If I was not on the tennis court than you would find me playing soccer or football outside with my neighborhood friends. In high school, I was going to continue playing tennis for Coral Gables Senior High School in Miami, Florida. However, my brother introduced me to badminton. I fell in love with this sport and was captain for my team on my senior year. On my off seasons I ran cross country.
I guess you can say I was always pretty active and love competing. I truly believe that I'm meant for this sport, God has put in my path an amazing coach who has guided me and explained to me the process and hard work athletes put in and off season for bodybuilding competitions. It's not just a hobby it is a way of life.
Of all the clothing and modeling/acting opportunities you could land what would be your favorite role and what would you wear?
I've never thought of being an actor. But, if I were to model clothing it would be active wear. However, high fashion brands has always interested me. I’m open minded.
Share with us a bit about your contest history and most memorable show experience?
Jax Physique is my first bikini bodybuilding show. I remember last year around April at the same time Jax Physique 2014 was taking place, I had told myself that one day I would be in that show and one year later I'm one week out from stepping on stage. I think it's vital to keep an open mind and dream big and remove all those external factors that keep you from accomplishing your goals (cont. pg. 6).
