Make sure you are positive and straight to the point.
Makes notes of important decisions, to feedback to students.
Ask questions if you do not understand.
Be prepared to challenge ideas, especially if they will affect the
student experience adversely.
Listen as well as ask questions.
Make sure that a person is named to follow up any agreed actions.
After the meeting
Write up notes of key outcomes of the meeting.
Feedback to students that are affected.
Follow up with any agreed actions you agreed to take.
Don’t forget if you are confused about any decision or issue contact
the chair for clarification.
