Why Kildare FETC ?
Kildare Town ’ s local FETC ( Further Education and Training Centre ) – is a place for adult learners to prepare themselves for employment , higher education , or to access new opportunities . Our part-time courses are designed to equip adults with the training they need to succeed in a competitive employment arena or to simply upskill and gain extra confidence through learning and development .
Our courses are designed to meet the needs of adult learners , including early school-leavers and people seeking to change careers , and prepare them for entry into employment or higher education . Some courses are also tailored for high-demand employment areas such as in business and healthcare . Our courses also encourage learners to develop their confidence and interpersonal skills as they ready themselves for the next step in their career , be it for the workplace or higher education institute .
Career Guidance
We now also offer an Adult Career Guidance service at our centre in Kildare Town . If you feel you might benefit from this service , please call to the office any weekday between 9am and 1pm to arrange an interview . This service will be active in Kildare Town every Monday and Tuesday .
