Fast food is a staple of the American diet.
Over the years American entrepreneurs
have taken local recipes such as hamburgers, fried chicken and even pizza and formed
large businesses which sold these items first
to America and then the world.
When I return to my native England it
almost feels like the USA as I see all the usual American restaurant chains on the high
streets there but before these franchises arrived in Great Britain there was already an
established fast food and that was fish and
chips.
