We Heard You!
Bexar County employees spoke loud in clear in a recent County Connection Newsletter survey—they want Human
Resources to continue producing the monthly newsletter!
In May of this year, 505 employees responded to our survey regarding the types of news articles offered in our
newsletter and here were the results:
The majority of the respondents said the newsletter was somewhat important to them and that they read the
newsletter whenever they have a chance. Most folks agreed the newsletter should continue on a monthly basis.
When asked about the newsletter content, the majority of the respondents said they would like to read more about
Offices/Departments, financial articles, monthly discounts offered to County employees, and articles related to
upcoming Community events.
Overall, the respondents said they were satisfied with most of the newsletter content and find it useful from time to
time.
We’d like to thank the survey participants for providing us with valuable insight as to what Bexar County employees
want to see in their County Connection. While we cannot implement all the suggestions provided to us in the comment
section of the survey, we plan to refine the newsletter going forward with information and stories requested by our
readers.
Thanks to your responses, we created this new E-newsletter in the hopes that you will enjoy it either at work or at
home. You can view this newsletter on your desktop, laptop, and smart devices. Scattered throughout the articles
you will find hyperlinks to various webpages and/or videos. So be sure to check out each page for you never know
what you might discover nestled in the fine print!
