Want To Hear Country Hits?
Bauer Media - the German based media group with a portfolio
including magazines, digital products and 50 radio and TV
stations around the world and the people behind recent
classical station Scala radio - are behind the launch of a new
DAB radio channel called Country Hits. Due to launch on April
5th with a target audience of 25-44 year olds, it promises
in its first week to include guest appearances from Chase
Rice, Carly Pearce, Ashley McBryde, Brett Eldredge, and
Jimmie Allen. (Sounds like they were busy during C2C) The
presenters include Baylen Leonard, known from his work
with Chris Country and BBC and a connection with The Long
Road Festival; and bizarrely, former Saturdays singer Una
Healy who is presenting a weekend show. Country Hits goes
up against Chris Country which has been running since 2013.
