Passing on personal possessions can be a very emotional and difficult process for some families. Paring down and transferring personal property often needs to be done when owners move or die but dividing the non-titled property may create more challenges than the titled property. There is no clear cut definition of “what is fair” but plan to join Berny Unruh for a discussion on how to get started on the plan to divide family heirlooms.

February 19th, noon, at the Great Bend Activity Center - THE POWER OF NINE – TAKING A LOOK AT BLUE ZONE
The Blue Zones are places around the world where a large percentage of people live well into their 90’s and even 100. This educational program will focus on 9 lifestyle choices that the residents in the Blue Zones have found will help them achieve healthy aging. Since this will be the theme for the 2020 Walk KS program, Donna will be promoting sign up for Walk KS at this stop and learn presentation.
March 11th, noon, at the Great Bend Activity Center - RAISING HEALTHY EATERS
Nothing seems more important to a parent than making sure their children are getting all the adequate nutrition they need. But experts caution parents about making mealtimes stressful. Well-meaning parents can often do more harm than help by forcing their children to eat – even if it’s nutritious foods. So, what are parents to do when their children won’t eat? This presentation will cover guidelines on developing healthy eating habits and will offer tips on managing picky eating phases.
