Radon Educational Programs set for the Cottonwood District
Radon is described in detail in the audio clip link on this page. There are several opportunities in March 2020 for interested realtors and home owners to learn more about this important topic.
Brian Hanson, Kansas Radon Program Coordinator, will be making a trip through western Kansas with stops planned in Great Bend and Hays. A 4 hour workshop for realtors is set for Monday, March 9th, from 1-5 p.m. at the Great Bend office located at 1800 12th Street. A 3-hour course will be held in Hays on March 10th at the Extension Office, 601 Main from 1-4 pm. A public meeting about Radon is scheduled for 5:15 pm in Hays.
Remember, we have short term Radon test kits available in both the Hays and Great Bend offices. The cost is $6.50.
This tasty and nutritious dip takes about 10 minutes to make and you will have everyone asking how you made it. The ingredients are:
1 (2 lb.) container non-fat small curd cottage cheese
1 (1 oz) packet ranch dressing mix
Simply spoon the cottage cheese into a mixing bowl or a blender and blend until creamy. Add the powdered ranch dressing mix into the cottage cheese and blend well. If you prefer a dip that is not quite so thick, add a small amount of milk and blend.
The Best Dip!
