Cottonwood District Virtual Wheat Plot Tour

Due to COVID-19 we did not hold in person-in the field wheat plot tours. Instead we conducted them virtually, I took pictures of each variety and our Extension Wheat specialist, area agronomist and small grains disease specialists talked about the strengths and weaknesses of each variety. Wheat Variety Disease and Insect Ratings

The “Wheat Variety Disease and Insect Ratings 2020 bulletin once it is updated will be posted to our web site or link below. This bulletin not only list the overall disease and insect reactions/ratings of wheat varieties, but also lists maturity, height, drought and straw strength of some of the most commonly grown varieties in Kansas.
