Join Donna Krug, Cottonwood District FCS agent for two StoryWalk acitivities this Fall. On Wednesday, October 16th from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. the book “Curious George Saves His Pennies” will be highlighted. Wednesday, November 20th, from 10:00 – 11:30 a.m. the book, “Have You Filled A Bucket Today?” will be shared. Both of the StoryWalks will be held at the Great Bend Activity Center located at 2715 18th Street. The goal of StoryWalk is to read and exercise together with your child. It is a free activity that targets pre-school age children with their parents or caregivers.

Medicare Open Enrollment Reminder
Every year from October 15th through December 7th, Medicare recipients have an opportunity to review their prescription drug coverage and change their provider. Sometimes navigating the Medicare maze can be challenging so consider taking advantage of a service provided in the Cottonwood Extension District.
