Several Cottonwood-BT 4-H members assisted in a variety of ways at the 30th annual Kids’ Ag Day at Diamond K farm on September 4th! Jonas Kern, Kylee Miessler, Kylie McCormick, Anna Prescott, Kassie Linsner, Greyson Ringwald, Lilly Linsner, and Cole Ringwald helped with the petting zoo and in other roles across the event! This is a great day for 4th grade students to learn about agriculture in Central Kansas. Cottonwood Extension agent Alicia Boor and 21 Central agent Baley Doggett led sessions on careers in Ag. Cottonwood Extension agents Karissa Winkel and Monique Koerner were assisted by Jacy Buchholtz for a StoryWalk with the book “How Did That Get In My Lunchbox” as well as providing a healthy snack.
