The Cottonwood District’s agents will attend the K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference from October 21-24 in Manhattan. This event is a crucial opportunity for our agents to engage in professional development, collaborate with peers, and bring valuable insights back to our district.
At the conference, agents will participate in conversations with Network Kansas, exploring ways to support local entrepreneurship and economic development. They will also work closely with their Program Focus Teams and Transdisciplinary Teams, diving deeper into specialized topics and fostering collaborative approaches to problem-solving. Additionally, agents will receive updates on the Next Gen K-State Strategic Plan, aligning their work with the university’s vision for future growth and impact.
The conference provides opportunities for our agents to network with various extension associations, enabling them to build connections that can lead to new partnerships and innovative ideas. These interactions, combined with targeted learning sessions, ensure our agents are equipped with the latest strategies and resources to enhance their programs and better serve the Cottonwood District.
The conference also provides a platform for networking and collaboration, enabling our agents to exchange ideas with colleagues and researchers across the state. These connections help strengthen partnerships that can lead to new opportunities and resources for our district.
Attending the KSRE Annual Conference is an investment in the continued excellence of our district’s extension services. The knowledge and skills gained during these four days will help our agents enhance their programs, better serve the community, and contribute to the long-term success of the Cottonwood District.
