Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas (SHICK) offers one-on-one, non-biased counseling and assistance to individuals and families either getting ready to sign up for Medicare, or those who already have Medicare.
Medicare Open Enrollment is from October 15 through December 7. Cottonwood Extension District offers free, unbiased, and confidential Part D assistance to help you find the best drug plan. Karissa is a certified counselor, and she is taking appointments for the Great Bend and Hays offices. Certified volunteers, Donna and John Krug, will also have limited availability in the Great Bend office.
When you schedule an appointment, you will receive a Medicare Part D Prescription Drug Coverage Worksheet. Medicare beneficiaries need to list all prescription drugs taken, dosage, and 30-day quantity on the worksheet.
