Even though we are in a severe drought, dates have been set for the Barton & Ellis Co. Wheat Demo Plot Field Days. Sometimes we can learn more in periods of drought from demo plots.
Barton County
Barton counties will be Thursday, May 18, beginning at 8:30 a.m. It is located from highway 281 N. of Hoisington on the Galatia blacktop NW 190 Rd. go 1 mile W. turn S. onto NW 50 Ave. go 1/8 mile. Tim Maier is the cooperator and K-State has an intensive management test trial there along with many varieties to view and discuss.
