This podcast is an outreach effort from Sarah Lancaster, K-State Extension Weed Science Specialist, Mandy Bish, Extension Weed Scientist at the University of Missouri, and Joe Ikely, Extension Weed Scientist at North Dakota State.
All podcast episodes will be posted at https://waragainstweeds.libsyn.com/ and will also be freely available on Spotify, a digital streaming service. Episodes will feature a variety of guests from university and private industry with expertise in a variety of aspects of weed science as they discuss key topics like integrated weed management, herbicide resistance, and others.

Location of the Barton Co. Wheat Plot is 2.5 miles W. of Great Bend on West Barton Co. Rd. at the intersection of NW 50th Ave. on the north side of highway.
In case of inclement weather for the Barton Co. Field Day it will be held at American Ag Credit, 5634 10th Street in Great Bend.
Ellis County Wheat Plot Field Day begins at 6:00 p.m. (RSVP appreciated by Friday, May 27th). Call or email: 785-628-9430 or [email protected] Meal and refreshments following the tour.
Neal Gottschalk is the farmer/cooperator this year that helped put out the wheat plot. Location of the plot is South of Hays at the intersection of Munjor Road and 220 Avenue. On 240th Ave. go 3.3 miles to Munjor Road, turn west and go to 2 miles to 220th Avenue, turn south on 220th and go ½ mile. Field is on the West side of the road.
In case of inclement weather the Ellis Co. Field Day will be held at Agricultural Research Ct. – Hays, 1232 240th Ave.
