Cottonwood Connections March 2025 | Page 2

Just as the weather warms up and the grass turns a deeper shade of green, the seasons never fail to change. Likewise, stages of life do the same. As I prepare to get married and move, I also am beginning a new season of life. In March, I will officially leave my position as a Family and Community Wellness Agent for the Cottonwood Extension District. It is most definitely a bittersweet transition, but I would like to extend my appreciation for my time with the Cottonwood Team. I have grown tremendously, and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with community partners. Mostly, I have loved the opportunity to encourage and educate others to improve their health.

While life changes, where my heart lies, stays the same, and I will continue to support the Cottonwood District and all my coworkers do to enrich our communities.

With gratitude,

Karissa Winkel
